“We all agreed, some of the best pizza we have ever eaten in America!”
This is a walk in and order at the counter joint. Pizza is cooked in a fire oven. They give little kids a ball of dough to play with while they wait. There is inside and outside seating with a charming sound track of American/Italians singing from the Great American Songbook. The food came quickly enough and was delish! They have an extensive beverage list covering everything from Pellegrino and the like to micro-brew to wine. Clear off your place and throw away your trash when you leave!
“What a Gem”
If you like the kind of super-sized greasy gross pizza that nearly everybody and everyplace serves, don't come here. Same if you are looking for New York or Chicago style. If you want wood fired, high quality bistro pizza, this is the place. Choose from many ingredients and that crust - wow! Order at the counter and then pick it up to eat there or take out. Service is among the most accommodating and friendliest ever encountered considering the informal but cute setting. Good beer and wine selection.
“Great pizza at great price”
The pizza is unique and delicious. Not a bad price either! One of the best crusts I've had. We were passing through and stopped at the canal park. Everyone else was very expensive but their pizza was great food at a great price.
"This has got to be the best food in Canal Park"
This has got to be the best food in Canal Park. If you're deciding where to eat, GO HERE. I've eaten at most of the Canal Park restaurants and this blows them out of the water. It's not fancy and you don't have waiter service; it's a pizza place with modern decor.
